DPRK, South Korean basketball teams to play games in Pyongyang

Basketball players from the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) and South Korea will play their first game for reunification here on Wednesday.
A South Korean delegation, including a team of players, is led by Minister of Unification Jo Myong Gyun. They arrived in Pyongyang Tuesday, the official Korean Central News Agency reported.
The DPRK Ministry of Physical Culture and Sports hosted a reception in honor of the South Korean delegation at Okryu Restaurant on the same day, said the report.
The DPRK and South Korea leaders have agreed to carry out sports exchanges as part of their efforts to improve relations and reduce tension on the Korean Peninsula.
