Dorielton snatches victory for Dhaka Abahani in BPL Football

Brazilian forward Dorielton continued his prolific form scoring brace as Abahani Limited, Dhaka, came from behind to beat ten men Chittagong Abahani Limited by exciting 3-2 goals in the TVS Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Football which was held on Tuesday at Shaheed Dhirendranath Datta Stadium in Cumilla.  
In the day’s match, Afghan midfielder Omid Popalzay opened the account scoring the first goal for Chittagong Abahani in the 32nd minute but the lead lasted for few minutes when Dorielton restored the parity for Abahani Limited in the 34th minute of the match.
Nigerian forward Peter again put Chittagong Abahani ahead by converting a spot kick in the 41st minute while after the breather, Dorielton neutralized the margin scoring the second goal for Abahani Limited in the 71st minute of the match.
Defender Nurul Naium Faisal sealed the victory scoring the third goal for Abahani Limited in the 78th minute of the match.
Chittaging Abahani however tried heart and soul to stage a fight back but they failed to score any in the remaining proceeding.
Chittagong Abahani were reduced to ten man as Nigerian forward Candy Augustine was shown red card by the referee following his double yellow cards.
The day’s win saw, the traditional sky blue Dhanmondi outfit Abahani Limited, which stood second position in the league table, raised their tally to 38 points from 17 matches, while the port city team Chittagong Abahani Limited remained at their previous collection of 26 points playing the same number of outings.
Meanwhile, Swadhinata Krira Sangha finally broke the jinx as they came from behind and stunned ten men Saif SC by 2-1 goals in the TVS Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Football at the Bir Shreshtha Shaheed Flight Lieutenant Matiur Rahman Stadium in Munshiganj on the same day.
After the barren first half, Nigerian forward Emeka Ogbugh finally broke the deadlock scoring the first goal for Saif in the 57th minute while forward Zillur Rahman restored the parity for Swadhinata in the 67th minute of the match.
