Dola busy with stage shows now

Dola is one of the singers who reached into the final round of 2017’s Channel i-Sherakontho, a music reality show, and later established her position in the field of music by virtue of her rendering style. After starting the season of stage show,
Dola’s engagement has been increased. As a singer, she
renders folk fusion, little bit fast, popular bands and western songs for the audience to fulfill their demands. So, Dola has acceptability among the audience.
According to Dola, she is a versatile singer. Folk and Lalon songs are appropriate in her voice. She got the opportunity to perform in the first day of 16 days’ music festival held at Hatirjheel Amphitheatre on the occasion of 50 years of Independence of Bangladesh. She is very much excited to perform in such an event. In RTV’s Folk Station Season-4, she rendered three songs – Posha Pakhi, Krishno Pokkho and Shirni Khawa.
Dola has already released her three original tracks. These are: Hele Dule, lyrics were written by Sudip Kumar Dip, tune was composed by Linkon and music was rearranged by Adib Kabir; Kancher Churi, lyrics and tune were composed by singer Dola herself and music was arranged by Adib Kabir; and Parina Samlate, lyrics were written by Sudip Kumar Dip, and tune and music were composed by Navid Parvez.
Dola said that her new song titled Bondhu Krishno Ami Radha, lyrics were written by Ahsan Shah, tune was composed by FK Swapan and music was arranged by Tuhin Ahmed, is waiting to release soon. Meanwhile, Dola’s another new song Rongo, composed by Autumnal Moon is also waiting to release. On December 22 and 24, Dola will perform in two stage shows in Gazipur and La Meridian in Dhaka respectively. While talking about own career in music Dola said, “I want to render some songs which will be accepted by the audience of all ages. I have love and affection for folk songs. So, I can compose some folk songs. I can represent my country’s songs to the world music.” Dola learned music from Ziaul Haque Lipu of Rangpur. Now she is receiving training from Ustad Ashit Dey. Dola lent her voice for play-back song in film Direct Attack and RTV’s web film Corporate.
