Doa Mahfil held on launching of Bangabandhu Satellite

A Doa Mahfil was held at the Baitul Mukarram National Mosque in the city on Thursday ahead of the launching of Bangladesh’s first communication satellite ‘Bangabandhu-1’ into the space.
Islamic Foundation organized the mahfil which was conducted by senior pesh imam of the mosque Mufti Maulana Mizanur Rahman.
In the Doa Mahfil, a mujanat was offered for successful launch of ‘Bangabandhu-1’.
Besides, prayers were also offered for a long live and healthy life of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina as well as peace, prosperity and welfare of the country.
Bangabandhu-1 will be launched at 4pm local time (BST 2am Friday) from the Cape Canaveral launching pad in Florida by Falcon 9 rocket of American firm SpaceX.
