Jatiyatabadi Nagorik Dal organized a doa mahfil for recovery of BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia from illness.
They also prayed for recovery of Amirul Islam Khan Tipu, the ailing vice-president of the organization.
The mahfil was held on Tuesday in the organisation’s central office at Eastern Trade Center in Nayapaltan in the capital.
About 200 leaders and workers of the organization took part in the mahfil, a press release said.
Shahzada Syed Md. Omar Faruk, Pirsaheb, led the mahfil and prayers.
Engineer Monjurul Farhad Philip, Advocate Monir Hossain, Engineer Masum Billal, Tajul Islam Kabir, ABM Hanif Mia, Rafiuddin Bepari, Shahjahan Bachchhu, Kamal Hossain, Hazrat Ali Bhuiyan Rana and Nazrul Islam, among others, were present.
