The Department of Narcotics Control (DNC) arrested three drug peddlers with 500 gram of Crystal meth, also known as Ice, from the city’s Pallabi and Dakshin Khan areas. The arrestees include top drug dealer of Taknaf Nurul Islam.
The DNC confirmed the matter to the media people on Monday night.
DNC Deputy Director Rasheduzzaman told the media that a woman and her son-in-law were recently arrested with a large quantity of ice and Yaba. Detective surveillance continued following their information and the three people were arrested. Details will be revealed at a press conference today (Tuesday), Rasheduzzaman added.
