To ensure hygiene for the city dwellers amid the novel coronavirus outbreak, Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) on Monday continues spraying germicide throughout the city for the sixth consecutive day.
The DMP is carrying out the disinfectant spraying programme by using eight water cannons in city’s eight areas – Ramna, Lalbagh, Wari, Mirpur,Gulshan, Uttara and Mothijheel – in two times on a day, a DMP press release said on Monday. It said first of all, the work of spraying begins at 10 in the morning and continues till 12 at noon and later, it resumes at 4 pm and continues till 6 pm.
