A view-exchange meeting was held between Divisional Commissioner Abdul Mannan and newly- elected Executive Committee members of Chittagong Reporters Unity (CRU) at the office of Divisional Commissioner on Tuesday.
The divisional Commissioner said that Chittagong bearded a history to preserving the history and tradition journalist can play a vital role to uphold the dignity of Chittagong as a historical city.
During the meeting he express his gratitude for the great role of Masterda Surja Sen, Pritilata Wadder, Kalpona Data, Abdul Karim Sahitto Bisarode and Abul Fazle.
He also express to help to build a central memorial for the martyred freedom fighters who made the supreme sacrifice in the War for Independence in 1971.
He also urged the journalist community to raise the voice to build a Memorial and Robindro Sarobore Complex like Dhaka in CRB Siristala Area in Chittagong Divisional Commissioner also Commitment to help the Journalist Community to build a office in a suitable palace and cooperate them while providing service to the people and development work.
President of CRU Kiron Sarma, Senior Vice President- Nazrul Islam ,General Secretary Kazi Humaun Kabir, Joint Secretary- Aminul Hoque Shahin, Organizing Secretary- Rasedul Aziz, Asst. Organizing Secretary Babul Miah Babla, Finance Secretary- Nurul Kabir, Office Secretary -Abdul Karim Salim, Publicity Secretary- Rajiv Rahul ,Training and IT Secretary- Mohammed Forkan and executive member Mohammed Alamgir was present during in the meeting.
