Barnak Samaj and Bangladesh Police AC registered wins in their respective matches of the Green Delta Insurance First Division Hockey League on Wednesday.
In the day’s first match, Barnak Samaj thrashed Combined SC by 7-1 goals at the Moulana Bhashani National Hockey Stadium.
Sohel of Barnak Samaj scored three goals and his teammate Alamgir netted two goals and their colleagues Rabiul, Mehedi successfully struck one time each on the board.
Robin of Combined SC struck the consolation goal.
In the day’s second match, Bangladesh Police AC crushed Farashganj SC by 9-1 goals at the same venue.
Hamidur of Police AC scored five goals and his teammates Jewel, Shiblul, Rana, Anisuzzaman netted one goal each.
Krishna Kumar of Farashganj SC pulled off one.
