Bachelor of Entrepreneurship Development program organized a public lecture on “Role of Education to become a Successful Entrepreneur” on last Monday at Daffodil International University (DIU).
Md Sabur Khan, Chairman of Board of Trustees of DIU delivered the keynote Speech while DIU VC Prof Dr M Lutfar Rahman presided over the program. DIU Pro-VC Prof Dr Md Golam Rahman also spoke.
Sabur Khan said that in a competitive world to add value and sustainability now a day’s education is a motivating factor to turn out to be a successful entrepreneurship. To become efficient and effective entrepreneur, one needs holistic approach though education, which employs different styles including tangible knowledge, thoughtful explanations, theoretical concepts and energetic carrying out tests.
In the competitive global business arena, successful new ventures are the results of zeal, enthusiasm, dedication, trust, innovative and skill which works as driving factors to help entrepreneur with the help of education as observed by the Khan.
A question-answer session was followed by after the finishing of the lecture where students, guardians and guests asked lot of questions.
In the question- answer session, Khan commented that to expedite the process of creating employment opportunity of the country, DIU for the first time had introduced Bachelor of Entrepreneurship Program in Bangladesh.
Prof Dr M. Lutfor Rahman commented that he felt proud as an academician to be a part of Bachelor of Entrepreneurship program which will be a pathfinder in this subcontinent and create opportunities to become self-employment.
Prof Dr Golam Rahman observed that to succeed in a real life, as an entrepreneur, education with quality assurance in the Bachelor of Entrepreneurship will create as a market driving force.
The students of the university Chandan Haider and Parmita Rahman Ivy conducted the program.
