To ensure quality higher education Daffodil International University (DIU) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with SCMS Group of Educational Institutions, India recently at the conference room of DIU.
Pramod P, Thevannoor, Vice Chairman, SCMS Group of Educational Institutions and Prof Dr Yousuf M Islam, Vice Chancellor, DIU signed the MoU on behalf of their respective institutions. Prof Dr SM Mahabubul Haque Majumder, Pro-Vice Chancellor, Prof Dr Ahmed Ismail Mostafa, Dean, Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, Prof Dr Mohammad Masum Iqbal, Dean, Faculty of Business and Entrepreneurship, Prof Dr AKM Fazlul Haque, Acting Registrar, Md. Emran Hossain, Director Administration of DIU, Mohammad Nuruzzaman, Chief Executive Officer, Daffodil Family, Prof Sebastian Dakin, Director, International Department, Japan University of Economics, Dr Varun G Menon, Head of International Relations of SCMS Group of Educational Institutions and distinguished high officials of DIU were also present at the signing ceremony.
Under this mutual agreement, both the universities will exchange students, faculty members in Summer and Winter School Program, internship placement, joint conference and so on. After the signing ceremony, Deans and Head of different departments discussed the possible prospects with the delegation for successful implementation of the agreement in coming semesters.
Earlier the delegation from Japan University of Economics, Japan visited over all infrastructural establishments, technological, lab and accommodation facilities of the permanent campus of Daffodil International University at Ashulia and planted two saplings at the campus premises.
