DIU inks MoU for sustainable education

A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed between Millennium@edu Sustainable Education and Daffodil International University (DIU), Bangladesh recently.
Dr Md. Sabur Khan, Founder and Chairman, DIU and Mario Franco, Founder and Chairperson of Millenium@edu Sustainable Education signed the MoU on behalf of their respective institutions while Dr Md. Sabur Khan attended Sustainable Education Meeting 2019 (SEM2019) and presented his keynote speech during the United Nations General Assembly Opening Week in New York.
The Millennium@edu Sustainable Education is a multi-stakeholder Initiative led by the private sector including some of the largest multinationals involved in education and technology that are willing to provide their contribution for the achievement of the UN Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). DIU is one of the leading private universities in Bangladesh which was established back 24th January 2002.
The MoU focuses to collaborate in the development of the project, naming, ‘Sustainable@edu project’ in Bangladesh. With the signing of this MoU, both institutions agreed to undertake different actions to materialize the initiative through organizing workshop at DIU to study and promote international collaboration; developing work plan to promote knowledge sharing and leadership skills to develop education technology project and work on the development of technology educational initiatives (through collaborative projects) between entities in Bangladesh and in globally.
