Daffodil International University (DIU) Industry Academia Lecture Series on “Entrepreneurship Development” was held at its auditorium in the city on Saturday, said a press release. Innovation and Incubation Center (IIC) of the university organized the programme.
Chairman of Board of Trustees of DIU Md Sabur Khan delivered the welcome speech while Director (Student Affairs) of university Syed Mizanur Rahman conducted it.
Chairman of Adcomm Ltd and former Adviser to the Caretaker Government Geeteara Safiya Choudhury delivered the 6th lecture of the series on “Advertising and Communication: A profession with a Difference”.
Director of IIC Md Abu Taher addressed in the function. Country’s renowned industrialists, business leaders, economists, teachers, researchers, secretaries, ambassadors and elites of the civil society were present at the programme, among others.
A total of 12 lectures by the 12 successful entrepreneurs were placed in the programme. The organisers said the lectures would be compiled and published as a book which will act as a reference book for the students of Business Administration, Economics and Entrepreneurship Development department.
