A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed on Wednesday between Daffodil International University (DIU) and Berlin’s EURASIA Institute for International Education (EIIE) for setting up German Research Centre (GRC) on the DIU campus.
Andrew John Geddes, founder director of EIIE, was present as the chief guest in the MoU signing ceremony while Professor Yousuf M Islam, vice- chancellor of Daffodil International University, presided over the programme at the conference room of the DIU.
Pro-Vice Chancellor of DIU Prof M Golam Rahman, Treasurer Hamidul Haque Khan, Director (International Affairs) Dr Md Fokhray Hossain, Director (Administration)Emran Hossain, Director of Daffodil Institute of Languages Dr Binoy Barman, and Sumon Talukder of SSBCL were present on the ocassion.
Under the agreement, the GRC will work for DIU students for helping them get admission in German universities in a proper way at a minimum cost for master’s level study.
