Campus Report :Three delegates from Daffodil International University (DIU) led by Md. Sabur Khan, Chairman, DIU Board of Trustees along with Md. Fouad Hossain Sarker, Assistant Professor, Department of Natural Sciences and Md. Iqbal Bhuyan, Lecturer, Department of Business Administration of DIU left Dhaka to attend the Launching Ceremony of Global Access Asia held from August 23 to 25 at Dongeso University, South Kroea. Global Access Asia (GAA) is an initiative of Asian University Presidents Forum (AUPF), international learning and teaching opportunity through both online Credit and Non-credit based courses focusing on the diversity as well as global role of Asia.Daffodil International University is one of the leading partners of this initiative where students belonging to a GAA affiliated home university will avail opportunity to access to credit materials of any or all of 45 universities. Three faculty members of Daffodil International University, Prof D. AKM Fazlul Haque, Masud Ibn Rahman, Associate Professor and Mohammad Shibli Shahriar, Assistant Professor have developed extraordinary online based course contents and contributed to GAA from Daffodil International University.After the launching ceremony of Global Access Asia, DIU high officials will visit Chungnam National University, Korea and attend in a meeting with the presidents of CNU to start mutual collaborative education exchanges. This is to be mentioned here that Md. Iqbal Bhuyan, Lecturer, Department of Business Administration, DIU is now completing his Ph.D at the CNU under professor Ki Kwan Yoon, Director, Asia/Africa Development Center, CNU.
