For the first time viewers’ choice actress Dolly Zahur, popular film actress and play director Parvin Sultana Diti, Lux star Urmila Srabonti Kar and Lux star Azmeri Haque Badhon are performing together in a drama serial titled Meghey Dhaka Shohor.
Directed by Shakhawat Manik story of the serial was written by Rudro Mahfuz. It is Shakhawat Manik’s directed first TV serial.
Shooting of the serial began at a shooting house in the city’s Uttara area from yesterday morning. Dolly Zahur, Diti, Badhon and Urmila are acting in four important roles in the serial.
While sharing her feelings to perform in the serial Dolly Zahur told this correspondent, “It is my first work under Manik’s direction. I have liked the story of the serial written by Rudro Mahfuz. Despite having busy shooting schedule I have been taking part in shooting of the serial Meghey Dhaka Shohor now.”
Diti shared her feelings by this way, “Now I am trying to work in good story based either in single or faction play. In fact, I have no intention to work in drama serial now. But story of Meghey Dhaka Shohor is absolutely related to our real lifestyle and activities. It seems like our real life story. For this reason, I have agreed to work in the serial. In think it will be a nice serial.”
“A new serial is like to me a beginning of a new episode in my life. I have been working in the serial to keep mind that thing,” Badhon said while sharing her feelings about the serial.
Urmila said, “This time I have become choosy while acting TV serial. To work under Manik Bhai’s direction in plays Black Coffee and Aporanho, I got huge response from the viewers. I believe my acted this serial will become a milestone in my acting career.”
Director Manik informed that this 100-episode serial will start to broadcast in any satellite channel soon.
Meanwhile, Ashirbad between Urmila Srabonti Kar and Joydeep Sinha Roy was held on October 17 last year. Now Urmila’s acted TV serials Family Pack, Mohor Ali, Ekdin Chhuti Hobey and Jogajog Golojog are being telecasted in different satellite channels.
On the other hand, on the occasion of coming Valentine’s Day Diti had made a special telefilm titled Valentine Atopor Bhalobasha.
However, Dolly Zahur is regularly acting in Mir Sabbir’s directed a serial titled Noashal and Rahmatullah Tuhin’s Kshonikaloy now.
At last, Badhon has worked in two plays which stories were good. These were: Amirul Islam Arun’s Moogly and Kaisar Ahmed’s Ice-cream O Anubhuti.
