UNB, Dhaka :
Commerce Minister Tofail Ahmed on Wednesday hoped the 20th edition of the month-long Dhaka International Trade Fair 2014 (DITF-2015) would fetch higher export orders making it a success.
“We had received export orders worth Tk 80 crore from the DITF-2014… we’re expecting higher export orders this time,” he told a press conference in the city.

The Export Promotion Bureau (EPB) and the Commerce Ministry host the DITF every year which turns out to be a favourite destination for one whole month for not only Dhakaites, but also for general people and traders from elsewhere in the country.
The Commerce Minister said some 14 countries-India, Pakistan, China, Malaysia, Iran, Thailand, the USA, Turkey, Singapore, Australia, the UK, the UAE, South Korea and Germany-along with Bangladesh will take part in the fair.
He hoped that some 75-80 thousand visitors will visit the fair regularly and there will be 97 pavilions with 58 mini pavilions apart from 516 stalls.
