A discussion meeting in observance of the 39th Martyrdom Annivrsary of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman was held on Saturday morning at Faridpur Press Club.Organized by press club the discussion was chaired by club President Kabirul Islam Siddiky.
Speakers stressed the need for a commitment of all for creating unanimity and consensus about the great sacrifice of the Bangabandhu and his life long struggle for making Bangladesh a happy and prosperous country. Journalists said that Bangabandhu was a true Bangalee and wanted to give the oppressed Banglees a separate homeland freeing them from the clutches of Pakistani Military junta.
