A discussion on National Mourning Day was held at Birshreshtha Abdul Hamid auditorium on Islamic University campus in Kushtia on Thursday.
Bangladesh Chhatra League, Islamic University Unit, organised the discussion on the occasion of 47th martyrdom anniversary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on Thursday noon.
Joint general Secretary of Bangladesh Awami League Mahbubul Alam Hanif spoke at the discussion as the chief guest.
IU unit Chhatra League President Foysal Siddique in the chair the discussion was addressed, among others, by IU Vice-Chancellor Professor Sheikh Dr Abdus Salam, Abdul Hye, MP, Barrister Selim Altaf George, MP, Pro- Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Mahbubur Rahman and Treasurer Professor Dr Alamgir Hossain Bhuiyan.
