Salim Sattar, Director of Balaka Blades (now familiar as Samah Razor Blades) Industries Limited lived in a luxurious flat in Banani in the capital. There he opened the illegal minibar. Many individuals used and sold drugs in his bar. But, Selim did not have a license to consume or sell drugs.
On Sunday (September 4) from 4:30 pm to evening, the Directorate of Narcotics Control (DNC) raided the flat of Bank Asia Bhaban (House No. 77) on Road No. 11, Banani.
A large quantity of foreign liquor, MDMA, cocaine, LSD, cannabis chocolate, kush and synthetic marijuana were seized.
Salim Sattar, owner of the flat and involved with drugs, have also been arrested.
DNC Deputy Director (North) Rasheduzzaman briefed the journalists on the spot after the operation.
