But I cannot detail the conversation. I am worried. I am not secure. I had felt such insecurity in 1971. I again feel the same thing,” Professor Fazlul Haque said.Expressing deep sorrow at the death of his son, Fazlul Haque said: “I am not thinking of my personal life after death of my young son. But from now on I feel insecure. I can be killed at anytime.”When asked about going to police, he said: “Police! What will they do? Will they bring any benefit if I go to them? Nobody is secure in this country… whether he is at home or outside. But I will not file any GD with the police station seeking security of my life.” “I have confidence in the country’s existing law. But I have no confidence in the present judicial system. Not a single trial was held till the date although several bloggers had been killed in the meantime,” he said. After the killing of his son, the frustrated Professor Fazlul Haque told the media that he would not seek any trial for his son’s death.
