Viewers’ choice popular host Dilruba Sathi has passed seven years of her career. From that point of view she has been passing ‘Lucky 7’ now. As a host, she started her career through a dance show on Bangladesh Television. Later her hosting in a special programme on Rabindranath Tagore was highly appreciated among the viewers. Then she became engaged with hosting, dancing and acting in different satellite channels including BTV. During that time she was slightly engaged with hosting.
In Channel i, Sathi has been hosting since 2011. From the beginning of Tarokakothon and Gaaney Gaaney Shokal Shuru she has been attcahed with these as a host. Therefore, she often hosts in special days’ programmes. Her artistic hosting has already appreciated to all.
Sathi always tries to host freely and without feeling any hesitation. As a part of continuation, she has passed seven years in her hosting career. Masud Chowdhury made Sathi acted first TV play. Hoimonti is one of her acted
mentionable plays. Awal Chowdhury made the play where Sathi is acting in the title role which was
appreciated much. Last year Sathi last acted in a play titled Siren under Rezanur Rahman’s direction. But
she feels comfortable in hosting rather than acting.
While talking in this regard Sathi said, “Till now I cannot feel comfortable to represent myself as a host because I am still learning. Many persons tell me I am their favourite host but I feel embarrass after hearing it. In fact, I try my level best while hosting. Viewers will give their judgment about my performance. When viewers like my hosting it really becomes one of achievements in my career.”
