On the fifth day of severe lockdown, the number of people on the streets of the city has increased. Rickshaws, motorbikes and private cars were seen plying on the main roads.Although there is a law enforcement check post at the entrance of the city in the city gate area, there is a feeling of looseness throughout the city. Meanwhile, on Monday (July 5) morning, people who had come out of Shah Amanat Bridge area, New Market, Kazir Deuri, Jamalkhan, GEC Junction, Agrabad and other areas of the city had to face police interrogation. Army positions have been observed in Moizartek and Newmarket areas. RAB and BGB are also patrolling the road. Besides, 12 executive magistrates are performing their duties.
Freight vehicles from different parts of the country are entering the city without any hindrance. Law enforcement is releasing them after seeing the documents.
