To promote digital trade in Bangladesh and initiate digitization of trade in readymade garments sector “Digital Trade Week” is going to start for the first time in Bangladesh from today.
The event organized by Merchant Bay Ltd., an online B2B trading platform focusing on expanding Bangladesh’s export sector. This trade week will start from tomorrow and will continue till October 21, said a press release.
During this week, Merchant Bay will facilitate the opportunity to more than one thousand suppliers from different parts of Bangladesh to meet with buyers from 50+ countries around the world. Suppliers will be able to promote their products and factory facilities to the buyers around the year. Buyers can get a clear idea about the apparel industry in Bangladesh and will be able to request suppliers for quotations. The core objective of this Digital Trade Week is to present a new dimension of trade through digitalization.
