Roads, Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader on Sunday said hassle in receiving services from Bangladesh Road Transport Authority (BRTA) has declined to a great extent after the introduction of digital service system.
“Domination of brokers was reduced at BRTA after digital system was introduced there as well as quality of services also improved,” he said.
Quader said this after paying a sudden visit at BRTA office in city’s Mirpur area, said a press release.
At this time, the minister talked to some service receivers and enquired them about the standard of services.
He also asked the authorities concern to increase monitoring system, enhance closed-circuit camera service and help desk facilities.
