A digital fair and internet week began in Nandail upazila of the district Sunday.
Lawmaker Anwarul Abedin Khan Tuhin formally inaugurated the fair as the chief guest in the auditorium of the upazila parisad with Upazila Nirbahi Officer Shanur Alam in the chair.
Chairman of the Nandail upazila parisad Abdul Malek Chowdhury and Vice chairman Abdus Salam were spoke as special guests. Assistant Commissioner Jasim uddin delivered welcome speech.
The chief guest said the digital fair will inspired the people to change their lifestyle and economic progress of the country.
He also urged the participants especially young generation to make them dedicated works force for building a digital Bangladesh.
Later, the chief guest visited different stalls and thanked the participants for setting up stalls to make the fair successful.
Public representatives, officers and employees of the upazila, teachers and students of different educational institutions, and local elite attended the inaugural function.
