Tungipara’r Miya Bhai is actress Prarthana Fardin Dighi-starrer her first movie. Directed by Shamim Ahmed Roni, Dighi played the role of Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Mujib in the movie. Dighi informed that she has already finished shooting of this movie. After getting matured, Dighi got the opportunity to play the role of Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Mujib in movie, which was really a great achievement for her, according to this talented actress.
While talking about acting in movie Tungipara’r Miya Bhai Dighi said, “At first, I was feared about acting in this role because there was little bit confusion in my mind that I could portray the role properly. But director and producer of this film kept their full confidence on me. Not only this, director and my father noted film actor Subrata gave me full support in this regard. They also co-operated me. My father also acted in this film, so it was easier for him to co-operate me while acting. During shooting, my father seated beside me and he also demonstrated me how to throw dialogues. Full unit co-operated me. For this reason, while acting I have tried my level best effort to portray the big role like Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Mujib in the movie. After releasing the movie, viewers will give their judgment about my performance.”
Dighi also said that from next month she will start shooting of two new movies at a time. Delwar Jahan Jhontu’s Tumi Achho Tumi Nei is one of these. Bappi Chowdhury started to work against Dighi in this movie. Later, he withdrew himself from the movie. Now director Jhontu will cast another hero to work with Dighi. Therefore, from next month Dighi is going to act against Shanto in Kazi Hayat’s new movie Joggo Sontan.
Today is Dighi’s birthday. She has no special plan to celebrate her birthday. At noon, she will pass time with her friends. In 2009, for the last time Dighi celebrated her birthday gorgeously with her mother late heroine Doyel and father Subrata. Later, after demise of her mother, she did not celebrate the day.
As a child artiste, Dighi came into discussion to perform as model and also to act in movies. Then from 2012 she did not work in media. After taking eight years break, she returned to acting. To fulfil her mother Doyel’s dream, Dighi wants to establish herself as a top class actress in future, she also said.
