Despite events unfolding back home in the wake of Indian Premier League (IPL) betting and match-fixing scandal, Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni stayed calm on Saturday and attributed his team’s success in the ongoing World Twenty20 extravaganza to a ‘good dressing room atmosphere’ where every individual was happy about each other’s success.
While the skipper made it clear that he won’t take any questions outside the World T20, he did say that the key to success in trying conditions depended on team members.
Dhoni, captain of IPL team Chennai Super Kings team owned by India Cements whose managing director is N Srinivasan (now suspended by the Supreme Court as the BCCI chief), came up during a hearing of the IPL scam case in the Indian Supreme Court on Thursday.
