Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) mayor Annisul Haq on Saturday said the capital will be transformed into a green city within next three-four years by tree plantation around streets and houses.
The mayor came up with the remark during an awareness campaign organized by the students of Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University.
Dhaka will be made a green city through a combined effort by people from all walks of life, Anisul added.
The students of the university brought out a rally with the slogan ‘Green Dhaka Clean Dhaka’ at Bijoy Sarani in the capital.
