It is our pleasure to share with you that Dhaka University Career Club (DUCC) is organizing a two day “Dhaka University Career Fest 2018” started on July 16-17, 2018. The two-day event is being held at the Teachers-Students Center (TSC) of the University from 9.30am-5.00pm. In addition to the job fair, three career related workshops and seminars (e.g. CV writing and professional skills development, government jobs, and career talk) are also going to be held.
A total of 27 companies including Square food and Beverages, Renata Limited, Igloo, Navana Limited and Apex are participating as potential employers.
Honorable Vice Chancellor Dr. Md. Akhtaruzzaman of the University of Dhaka has kindly graced the opening ceremony of the program as Chief Guest.
Professor Shibli Rubayat, Dean, Faculty of Business Studies was present as the Guest of Honor of the event. Special guests include: Munir Hasan, Coordinator, Youth Program, Prothom Alo; Mr. Syed Almas Kabir, President, BASIS; Dr. Shahidul Islam, Professor, Department of Marketing; and Mr. Abid Khan, Founding President of DUCC. Opening ceremony was coordinated by Md. Rashedur Rahman, Assistant Professor, Department of Organization Strategy and Leadership, University of Dhaka and Moderator of the club.
The fair is open to all students of the universities in Bangladesh.
