UNB, Dhaka :
Bangladesh is going to assist the international community in tracing the Malaysian missing aircraft from Saturday.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Friday directed the authorities concerned to assist the international community in the search operation for the missing Malaysian plane, PM’s Special Assistant
Mahbubul Hoque Shakil said.
He said that two patrol aircraft and two frigates will be engaged from on (Saturday) to search the missing Malaysian aircraft.
The Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370, with 239 people on board, dropped off air traffic control screens at about 1:30am on Saturday, less than an hour into a flight from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing.
It is one of the most baffling mysteries in the history of modern aviation as there has been no trace of the plane since nor any sign of wreckage despite a search by navies and military aircraft of over a dozen countries across Southeast Asia.
