The players’ draft of the Bangabandhu Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Cricket was held at the Radisson Blu Dhaka Water Garden, a city hotel on Monday. The six participating teams bought cricketers, who will play for their teams. The BPL Cricket will be held at the three different venues across the country.
Dhaka Stars have signed directly with four cricketers including two foreign cricketers. They are: Mahmudullah Riyad, Isuru Udana (Sri Lanka), Kais Ahmed (Afghanistan), Najubullah Zadran (Afghanistan).
The local cricketers, who have been bought by Dhaka, are: Tamim Iqbal, Mashrafe Bin Mortaza, Rubel Hossain, Shuvagata Hom, Mohammad Naim, Arafat Sunny, Imranuzzaman, Shafiul Islam, Jahurul Islam, Shamsur Rahman and Ebadat Hossain.
The foreign cricketers, who have been bough by Dhaka, are: Mohammad Shahzad (Afghanistan) and Fazlul Haque Faruqui (Afghanistan).
Sylhet Sunrisers have signed directly with four cricketers including three foreign cricketers. They are: Taskin Ahmed, Dinash Chandimal (Sri Lanka), Kesrick Williams (West Indies) and Colin Ingram (South Africa).
The local cricketers, who have been bought by Sylhet, are: Mosaddek Hossain, Mohammad Mithun, Al Amin Hossain, Najmul Islam, Anamul Haque, Shohag Gazi, Alok Kapali, Mukter Ali, Siraj Ahmed, Mizanur Rahman, Nadif Chowdhury, Jubaer Hossain and Shafiul Hayat.
