Dhaka crushed Gazipur by 8-0 goals in the Sailor-BFF National U-15 Football Championship at Tangail District Stadium on Sunday.
Borhanuddin and Jewel struck two goals each, Minhajul and Emon Babu netted one each while the remaining two goals were suicidal.
In the other fixture of the day, Comilla, Naogaon, Gopalganj, Thakurgaon, Narayanganj, Satkhira and Cox’s Bazar DSAs won their respective matches at different zonal venues across the country.
In Moulvibazar, Comilla outplayed Sunamganj by 6-0 goals. Shakil struck two, Ibrahim, Jabbar, Mehdi Hasan and Hridoy netted one each for Comilla DSA.
In Rajshahi, Naogoan beat hosts Rajshahi by 1-0 goal by dint of the goal scored by Mohammad Tau-ut.
In Gopalganj, hosts Gopalganj DSA defeated Madaripur by 4-1 goals. Nippon made a hat-trick scoring all the fours goals for the winners. Shohan netted the lone goal for the losers.
In Thakurgaon, hosts Thakurgaon beat Dinajpur by 2-1 goals. Fahim scored both the goals for the winners while Sumon netted the only goal for the losers.
In Chuadanga, Narayanganj, riding on a hat-trick by Mohammad Ibrahim, beat hosts Chuadanga by 3-1 goals. Shamim Reza netted the lone goal for the host team.
In Jessore, Satkhira defeated Magura by 3-0 goals. Mollah scored two and Azad netted one for the winners.
In Chittagong, Cox’s Bazar beat Khagrachari by 4-2 goals.
Mamun, Mohiuddin, Abdullah and Nadim scored one each for Cox’s Bazar while Salim and Sakib netted one each for Khagrachhari.
