Dhaka Range team emerged as the champions of the Bangladesh Police Volleyball Competition beating Dhaka Metropolitan Police by 3-1 sets in the final at the Rajarbagh Police Lines Ground, which adjacent to the Shaheed Shiru Mia Auditorium on Tuesday.
Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) became runners-up in the meet.
After the final match, Inspector General of Bangladesh Police AKM Shahidul Haque distributed the prizes among the winners as the chief guest, while Chairman of Dutch-Bangla Bank Limited Abul Kashem Md Shirin was with him as the special guest.
President of Bangladesh Police Volleyball Council and Additional Inspector General (Finance) of Bangladesh Police Fatema Begum presided over the prize-giving ceremony.
Additional Inspector General (CID) Sheikh Hemayet Hossain, DMP Commissioner Md Asaduzzaman Mia, DIG of Dhaka Range SM Mahfuzul Haque, Special Police Super Syeda Jannat Ara were present at the time.
