Sports Reporter :
Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League will begin in the first week of March.
A large number of star cricketers will not take part in the League as they are tired after playing Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) T20 cricket and the ongoing matches of New Zealand.
But Mashrafe Bin Mortaza will compete in the League after taking a rest for two or three matches.
Mashrafe will play for defending champions Dhaka Abahani Limited. Last year Mashrafe bagged 39 wickets in the League.
Coach of Dhaka Abahani Limited Khaled Mahmud Sujan is highly delighted after getting Mashrafe in his squad again.
Khaled Mahmud said to the reporters, ” Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League is an attractive cricket competition. Mashrafe always wants to play competitive cricket. The League is very important for him and it will be a practice for him for the ensuing World Cup Cricket.”
He said, “Mashrafe led Abahani last year. So, Mashrafe is very much important for Abahani and Abahani is also important for Mashrafe.”
