Dhaka DSA emerged the champions of the Marcel LED Television Inter-Divisional Women’s Kabaddi Competition when they beat Narail DSA by 23-16 points with one lona in the final at the Kabaddi Stadium on Wednesday.Meanwhile, Jamalpur DSA finished third when they defeated Panchagarh by 23-16 points including two lonas in a place-deciding match at the same venue on the same day.Shahnaz Parvin Maleka of Dhaka DSA was adjudged the best player of the tournament while Sharmin Sultana Rima of Narail DSA was adjudged the player of the final.After the final match Minister for Posts, Telecommunication and Information Technology Abdul Latif Siddique, MP distributed the prizes among the winners as the chief guest while Additional Director of RB Group FM Iqbal Bin Anwar Don, Advisor (Programme) of ATN Bangla Nawajesh Ali Khan, Chairman of Manna Foundation Shelly Manna were present as special guests.Vice-President of Bangladesh Kabaddi Federation (BKF) Md Nizam Uddin Chowdhury Parvez presided over the prize-giving ceremony. General Secretary of BKF Md Nazrul Islam and other officials of the Federation were present at the time.
