National Cricket League: Dhaka Div take narrow lead against Khulna

Dhaka Division took an overall 127-run lead over Khulna Division after the third day’s play of tier-2 of four-day National Cricket League held on Thursday at Khan Shaheb Osman Ali Stadium in Fatullah.
Banking on a narrow 24 runs first innings lead, Dhaka Division stated their second innings on the third day (Thursday) and scored 103 for 3 at stumps with Taibur Rahman and Zahiduzzaman were on the crease with 22 and 11 runs as the stumps were drawn for the day.
Biswanath Halder, Al Amin and Abdur Razzak shared one wicket each for Khulna Division.
Earlier, Khulna Division resumed their first innings on the third day at overnight score of 195 for 5 and finally all out for 342.
Dewan Sabbir caused the major damage as he grabbed five Khulna’s wicket conceding 58 runs. He was well supported by Nazrul Islam who bagged two wickets giving away 80 runs.
