Dhaka, Delhi vow to work together

UNB, Dhaka :
Bangladesh and India on Sunday renewed their vow to work together for a stronger engagement settling pending issues through mutual discussions.
Both the neighboring countries expressed their willingness to work and prosper together while celebrating India’s 65th Republic Day here.
Finance Minister AMA Muhith attended the Republic Day reception held at a city hotel as the chief guest hosted by Indian High Commissioner Pankaj Saran.
Speaking on the occasion, the Finance Minister said the ties between the
two countries are based on strong foundations, and expressed his hope that all the issues between the two countries would be resolved through mutual talks and mutual respect.
Pankaj Saran said, his country believes in building stronger partnership with the principles of mutual respect, mutual benefit and respect for each other’s sovereignty.
The Indian diplomat reiterated that his country would remain fully committed to resolving all the issues between the two countries through discussions as India considers Bangladesh an important partner.
