The two-day polls to elect the office bearers for 2019-2020 of Dhaka Bar Association, believed to be the largest Bar of Asia, will be held on February 27 and 28.
A total of 57 candidates will vie for 27 posts including President and General Secretary.
Pro-independence Sammilito Ainjibi Samannay Parishad candidates will take part under White Panel while BNP-Jamaat supported candidates will contest under Blue Panel.
Gazi Md Shah Alam and Md Asaduzzaman Khan (Rochi) will contest for the posts of president and general secretary respectively from the White Panel while Md Iqbal Hossain and Md Hossain Ali Khan Hasan will vie for the posts from the Blue Panel.
Chief Election Commissioner Advocate Mokhlesur Rahman Badal declared the election schedule on January 31.
