Dhaka Abahani Limited dropped an important point with Muktijoddha Sangsad KC as their 3rd leg match of the Nitol-Tata Bangladesh Premier Football League ended in 1-1 draw at the Sheikh Fazlul Haque Moni Stadium in Gopalganj on Wednesday.
Enamul put the freedom fighters’ team Muktijoddha ahead from a penalty in the injury time of the first half (45+1) while Morrison levelled the margin for Dhaka Abahani in the injury time of the last half (90+3).
Despite the day’s draw, Abahani Limited remained at the 2nd slot in the league table securing 39 points from 21 matches while Muktijoddha KC at 4th place in the league with 34 points from 21 encounters.
Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club comfortably dominated the league securing 48 points from 21 outings while Dhaka Mohammedan SC were in the 3rd slot with 35 points, also playing 21 matches.
