Dhaka Abahani Ltd beat visiting Karachi Electric FC (KEFC) of Pakistan by 3- 2 goals in the opening match of the maiden edition Sheikh Kamal International Club Cup Football tournament at M A Aziz Stadium here on Tuesday with huge enthusiasm among the local football fans.
Abahani dominated the first half 2-0 in a style as well as kept control over the ball in the maximum time of the first 15 minutes with eye-catching performance from the very beginning of the match.
Midfielder Waly Faisal won the clap of around 5000 audiences putting Abahani ahead in the 24th minutes, utilising a free kick, by a left footer powerful shot.
