The Health Ministry has been extensively examining the papers provided by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) against the show cause notice over agreements with Regent Hospital and JKG.
“The DGHS has submitted a written statement along with many papers only yesterday.We’ve started examining these. We’re scruitising if the statement covers all subject matters what we wanted to know,” said Health Secretary Abdul Mannan, reports a Bangla news portal on Thursday.
The DGHS would be informed written if the ministry is satisfied or not

with the explanation, he added.
Earlier on Wednesday, the DGHS Director General (DG) Prof Dr Md Abul Kalam Azad submitted an explanation against the Health Ministry’s Show cause notice.
In the notice, he claimed that the agreement was signed by the oral order of the then Health Secretary Asadul Islam who is now a Senior Secretary at the Planning Ministry.
However, Asadul Islam told the media that he did not give any verbal order. He pointed out that in signing an agreement by the government verbal orders have no value.
