DFA gets first installment from BFF

DFA members of all 64 districts sighed of relief as they were given the first installments by Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) in order to smoothly run the nationwide ‘District Football League 2018.
A meeting between BFF and DFA members with the aim to develop football from the grassroots, federation members held on Sunday at the BFF House in city’s Motijheel.
BFF President Kazi Salahuddin, Executive Committee members and Presidents and Vice-presidents of the District Football League committees were present at the meeting.
As per the meeting, each district football league will get Taka 3 lakh grants to arrange the tournaments. Initially, presidents of the league committees will get Taka 1 lakh in cheque as advance and the rest will be distributed in phases.
For advanced training, BFF has decided to provide trainers and other auxiliaries to prepare the players well.
This fund was one third of given by sports ministry to run football league and other related activities at the district level. Other two part of the funds will be given to BFF in course of time.
