The fifth edition of Development Cup Football tournament began on Monday at Govt. Physical Training College in city’s Mohammadpur area with a lone match between Khulna and Sylhet division.
A total of eight divisional U-16 teams from across the country are taking part in the tournament.
State Minister for Youth and Sports Dr. Biren Sikder, MP, formally inaugurated the meet as the chief guest.
Deputy Minister on Youth and Sports Arif Khan Joy, MP, and Youth and Sports Secretary Asadul Islam were present as special guests.
