The Development Cup tournament football began on Monday at the Physical Education College ground in the city’s Mohammadpur.
State Minister for Youth and Sports Sri Biren Sikder, MP, inaugurated the six-day meet as the chief guest.
The final of the competition is slated on Friday (May 22) at 3 pm after the semifinals matches on Wednesday (May 20) at the same venue.
