The ADP implementation scenario, however, has
changed from what it was at the beginning of the fiscal year. It picked up in November amid the fervour surrounding the parliamentary polls in December last year.
The government spent Tk 1,11,033 crore from its own treasury in the last fiscal year, which was 95.72 per cent of the allocation. The spending from the project aid stood at Tk 47,279 crore, which was 92.70 per cent of the allocation.
The government’s expenditure from its own sources rose in the just-concluded fiscal year, compared to what it was in 2017-18. The spending from the foreign component fell year-on-year.
Implementation, Monitoring and Evaluation Division that looks after the implementation status of the development projects held a review from May 16, according to the division officials.
