A 3- day-long Development Fair has started in Bauphal of Patuakhali on Monday at Bauphal Upazila Parisad Crossing as Chief Guest . Chief Whip of Bangladesh Jatiya Sangsad ASM Firoj MP inaugurated the Fair.
On the occasion , a colorful rally was brought out led by ASM Firoj MP. The rally was started from upazila parisad premises and after passing the main roads of Bauphal Upazila Sadar, the rally ended at the same place. Chief Whip ASM Firoj said, present govt. is working for the development of the country and for the people and this development will be continue.
UNO of Bauphal upazila presided over the meeting, Chairman Ibrahim Faruk, Upazila Vice Chairman Mosaref Hossen Khan, A.L Secretary Motalib Howlader, upazila agriculture officer, upazila engineer, OC of Bauphal Thana also speak in the meeting. Bauphal upazila administration organised the fair and 27 stalls have been set up in this fair. This fair will be continued from September 28 to 30th September.
Baraigram (Natore) Correspondent reports: A 3- day- long Upazila Unnayan Mela was inaugurated in Baraigram upazila of Natore district on Monday.
On the occasion, upazila administration brought out colourful procession and arranged a discussion meeting on Monday at the upazila auditorium room.
The discussion meeting meeting was presided over by Upazila Nirbahi Officer Md Ruhul Amin. M.P of Natore-4 Prof. Abdul Kuddus was present as a chief guest at the inaugural meeting.
Bonpa Pouro Mayor K.M Jakir Hossain was present as a special guest. It was also addressed among others by Upazila Vice-Chairman Prof. Abdul Hakim, Upazila AL-Chairman Abdul Jalil PK and Upazila Engineer Md Shahidul Islam. This meeting was conducted by Upazila Education Officer Ms Sirazum Munira.
BSS from Narayanganj adds: A three-day development fair began yesterday at Chashara Shaheed Minar as part of the nationwide programme to highlight the social and economic development of the country during the tenure of the present government.
The Narayanganj District Administration organized the fair.
Advocate Hosne Ara Bablee, MP, inaugurated the fair as chief guest.
Deputy Commissioner Siddiqur Rahman chaired the function. ADC general Gausul Azam, Director of Local Government Ishrat Hossain Khan, President of Narayanganj district Mohila Awami League Shirin Begum, Civil Surgeon Ashutosh Das and Narayanganj Sadar UNO Afroza Akter Chowdhury spoke on the occasion.
A total of 27 stalls of different ministries including Narayanganj District Disaster Management and Relief, district education office, district department of environment, agriculture extension, department of land revenue, department of health, department of LGED, department of family planning, department of district social welfare, fire service and civil defense, Ansar, VDP and district information office set up stalls for public view.
The fair will end on September 30.
