Deshbandhu Textile Mills Limited will invest US$53.77 million to establish a readymade garment industry in Uttara Export Processing Zone (UEPZ).
The local venture will produce 27.6 million pieces of Denim and Woven pants annually in the plant.
Adviser of Deshbandhu Textile Mills Limited Brigadier General (retd) Sarwar Jahan Talikder and member (Investment Promotion) of Bangladesh Export Processing Zones Authority (BEPZA) signed an agreement in this regard on Sunday, said a media release.
