Money case: Depositions of more witness against Mosharraf Sept 21

The Special Judge Court-1 of Dhaka on Monday fixed September 21 to record depositions of more witness in a case filed against BNP Standing Committee Member Dr Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain for alleged siphoning off Tk 9.55 crore to England.
Judge M Ataur Rahman passed order after recording the depositions of one order witness on Monday. Earlier, seven witnesses testified in the case.
The eighth witness is likely to complete testifying on the next date. On the occasion, Attorney General Mahbubey Alam was present in the courtroom on Sunday and Monday.
On October 28, last year, the court framed charges against the accused in the case. On February 6, 2014, Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) Director Nasim Anwar filed the money laundering case with Ramna Model Police Station against Dr Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain. Later, on August 14 of that year, the complainant and also the Investigation Officer of the case Nasim Anwar submitted the charge sheet of the case to the court.
