Japanese citizen murder: Deposition of 2 witnesses recovered

The Fourth Additional Metropolitan Sessions Judge Court of Dhaka yesterday recorded the depositions of two witnesses in the case filed in connection with the murder of Japanese citizen Heroi Miato.
Judge Maksuda Parveen of the court recorded depositions of the witnesses on Tuesday. They are Uttara Sector-12 Graveyard Mohrar Monirul Islam and Uttara City Homes-residential hotel chef Monir Hossain. The court so far recorded the depositions of
nine witnesses. Later, the court fixed October 24 to record the depositions of more witnesses.
The accused of the cases are HM Zakir Hossain Patwari alias Raton, Maruful Islam, Rashidul Islam Bappi, Fakhrul Islam, Md Jahangir Hossain Patwari and Dr Bimal Chandra Shil. All the accused are on bail.
The brief prosecution story says, on October 26, 2015, the suspects tactfully abducted Heroi Miato and kept her in a house. Later, they secretly killed her and buried in a graveyard of Uttara of the city on October 29.
